Babacar joined CEC in April 2023 as Computer Science Networking working in the IT/automation control group. Prior to this position, he worked at Oak National Lab at the Manufacturer Demonstrating Facility. In that role he worked for Dr. Suresh Babu, Professor, UT/ORNL Governor’s Chair of Advanced Manufacturing. At ORNL Babacar built and programmed a Humidity/Temperature Sensor, Drafted many AutoCAD designs for 3D-printing, and Research on Smart Manufacturing.
